CONFERENCES & TRAINING

Preparing for PPM- A Post-Conference Workshop
September 20, 2008 - 1:30-4:30 pm

Are you and your station up to speed on the changes that are about to happen in your local market?  PPM is changing everything:

  • methodology
  • estimates
  • survey periods / release dates
  • the 'Book'
  • software
  • available reports
  • depth of the data
  • new rules for public radio
  • and the stories about your listeners!

Understand one thing: your radio station isn't changing, but the way Arbitron 'presents' your station will be. Are you prepared to deal with possibly smaller audience estimates? Do you know how to find the great stories that may not have been available in diary data today?

The Radio Research Consortium, in cooperation with PRPD, is hosting a Saturday afternoon post-conference workshop dedicated exclusively to PPM, especially for stations in markets that Arbitron is rolling out to PPM before the next PRPD conference.

Saturday, September 20th, 1:30 - 4:30pm at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel.  Please register your plan to attend with RRC's Dave Sullivan (DSullivan@rrconline.org).
